Dr. David Pacey

DENTIST

I’m too tall to be a jockey, too skinny to be a sumo wrestler, not funny enough to be in show business, but just nice enough to be a dentist. I love a great smile.

Q: Tell us little bit about yourself.

A: I’m a father (daughter Kaylah 26 and son Owen 15) and a grandfather (Charlie 18 months). I’m originally from Pennsylvania but have lived in western Washington for 20 years until a month ago. I am excited to be here in this beautiful place, among people who care about their community. I am eager to be a part of this community, both at work and at play.

Q: Why did you choose to become a dentist?

A: I’m too tall to be a jockey, too skinny to be a sumo wrestler, not funny enough to be in show business, but just nice enough to be a dentist. I love a great smile.

Q: Do you as a dentist have any weakness or strength?

A: I’m a people person, but I do have a weakness…for pie. Any pie, but especially homemade pie, homemade coconut cream pie, and that is a serious weakness.

Q: What are your hobbies or interests?

A: I love outdoorsy stuff like canoeing, hiking, birdwatching and camping. I play a game called Ultimate Frisbee. It’s great fun and good exercise and terrific for kids. I have coached the sport for the past 6 years because I love to see young athletes build a positive culture and become confident about themselves.
